Daniel Bazargun
The Director of Political Affairs shall:
Be the primary organizer and coordinator of student involvement in national, state, and local campaigns (phone banks, Get Out the Vote efforts, voter registration, etc.);
Build and maintain relationships with local elected officials by attending events in which they are present;
Research local, state, and national issues and report to the Executive Board and the general membership when the information is needed;
Coordinate lobbying efforts to the local and state government including, but not limited to: rallies, letter writing campaigns, testifying, petitions, etc.;
Collect and seek out internship opportunities for members and give to the Executive Director information to disburse to the club;
Organize and plan philanthropy events.
